Chun Yi (Pinky) Tsang

Founder & Artistic Director, Music Blossom Studio

I founded Music Blossom Studio to help students grow into confident, well-rounded musicians. Piano study builds more than technical skill — it develops patience, focus, and creative problem-solving that students carry into every part of life.

With over 17 years of experience, I hold dual Master of Music degrees in Collaborative Piano (University of Toronto) and Piano Performance (Indiana University), alongside my honors degree from Hong Kong Baptist University. As an active performer with the Toronto Classical Choir and a student of Russian piano technique through the Gorin Institute, I believe that being a great teacher means never resting on what you already know.

My goal is to help every student discover what they’re capable of.

My philosophy is built on three core values: Inspire · Nurture · Empower. Every lesson reflects these principles, from establishing a healthy technical foundation to encouraging creative expression and celebrating each milestone. In our supportive environment, students feel safe to explore, experiment, and grow in confidence.

I believe every student has unique potential waiting to be discovered. My goal is to introduce music in ways that spark curiosity and joy, nurture skills and creativity, and guide students toward steady progress and achievement. Beyond exams, recitals, and competitions, I hope every student develops a lifelong love of music, carrying its gifts of confidence, resilience, and joy into all areas of life.
